Cooperation Agreement Signed to Develop the Italy–Argentina Tourism and Cultural Productive Corridor
New partnership opens new opportunities for tourism and economic development across the participating regions.
Bari, April 22, 2025 – A promising new partnership has been established in the fields of tourism and destination promotion. Incoming Puglia, the destination management platform operated by Altaquota Srl and dedicated to inbound tourism in the Puglia region, is pleased to announce the signing of a Cooperation Agreement with ACTIA (Italy–Argentina Territorial Coordination Agency) on April 18, 2025.
The primary objective of this partnership is to join the Italy–Argentina Municipal Network and to collaborate on the development of the Italy–Argentina Tourism and Cultural Productive Corridor (CPTCIA).
The agreement, formally signed by both parties, reflects the shared commitment of Incoming Puglia and ACTIA to actively promote the cultural and tourism assets of their respective territories, creating a true “tourism bridge” between Italy and Argentina. This strategic initiative aims to strengthen exchanges between the two countries while fostering the economic and social development of the local communities involved.
Through the creation of the CPTCIA, new opportunities will emerge for the tourism sector in Puglia and throughout Italy. The initiative is designed to attract a growing number of Argentine visitors while also encouraging Italian travelers to discover Argentina’s rich cultural, historical, and natural heritage.
Beyond tourism, the corridor is intended to promote cooperation in cultural and productive sectors, creating a dynamic ecosystem of collaboration and exchange between the two nations.
This partnership marks an important step forward in the internationalization of Puglia’s tourism offering and highlights the value of territorial cooperation as a driver of sustainable growth and the promotion of cultural and economic heritage.
Incoming Puglia and ACTIA are enthusiastic about embarking on this shared journey and are confident that this collaboration will generate lasting benefits and new opportunities for the communities and territories involved.
