Day 1: Upon your arrival in Bari, our driver will greet you and take you to your hotel. If time permits, we can recommend optional excursions for you to consider on your first day.

Day 2: Start your day with a delightful breakfast before embarking on the first excursion of the tour: a boat trip to explore Vieste. Marvel at the captivating Gargano caves and pass through the iconic San Felice Arch. For lunch, we will take you to Peschici, where you can enjoy fresh seafood at one of the renowned Trabucchi restaurants by the sea. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the enchanting Foresta Umbra, a UNESCO-listed forest that was recognized as one of the most beautiful forests in the world in 2022. Choose from various scenic routes to explore its natural beauty. Return to your hotel in Manfredonia.

Day 3: After breakfast, we will change scenery and head to Barletta, renowned for its historic center featuring the impressive Swabian Castle and a stunning 13-kilometer coastline adorned with beautiful beaches. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at your own pace. After enjoying the seaside charm of Barletta, we will then venture into the underground routes of Gravina Sotterranea. Spend the afternoon exploring Gravina di Puglia, a town perched on the edge of a ravine between Puglia and Basilicata. We’ll make a brief stop in Altamura, where you can taste the famous focaccia from the Di Gesù bakery and try the all-Apulian walnut liqueur known as “Padre Peppe.” Return to your hotel in Matera

Day 4: After breakfast, it’s time to immerse yourself in the captivating town of Matera, known for its ancient Sassi district. Explore Matera from top to bottom, enjoying panoramic views of the Sassi from the numerous balconies. Journey along the Belvedere and descend among the actual sassi dwellings. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at your own pace. In the afternoon, we will visit two characteristic villages: Alberobello and Ostuni. Alberobello invites you to discover its unique trulli houses in Rione Monti and Rione Aia Piccola. Ostuni, known as the iconic “White City,” will captivate you with its whitewashed buildings and centuries-old olive trees. Return to your masseria accommodation.

Day 5: After breakfast, we will set off to Grottaglie, renowned for its ceramics production. Explore the dedicated ceramics district near the historic center, and we recommend purchasing a typical “pumo” as a souvenir. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at your own pace, and in the afternoon, indulge in a wine tasting experience, followed by a dinner show featuring lively pizzica music and a delightful selection of typical Apulian dishes. Return to your masseria.

Day 6: After a satisfying breakfast, we will transfer you to Lecce, known as the “Lady of Baroque.” Enter through Porta Napoli and immerse yourself in a world of ancient palaces and exquisite papier-mâché workshops. Explore notable landmarks such as the Basilica of Santa Croce, Piazza Sant’Oronzo, the Amphitheater, and the majestic Carlo V Castle. You’ll want to remember to stop at a café and order a Pasticiotto, the famous pastry of Lecce, as well as a “caffè Leccese” which is the delicious local coffee. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at your own pace. In the afternoon, we will continue to Otranto, known as the “Port of the Orient.” Discover the captivating monuments within the town and make sure to visit the stunning “Bauxite Quarry,” a former mining site transformed into an emerald green pond. After our exciting day, we will take you back to rest at your masseria.

Day 7: Enjoy a delightful breakfast before embarking on a morning visit to Gallipoli. Explore the city’s remarkable monuments, indulge in its stunning beaches, and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the fish market. Treat yourself to a refreshing aperitif amidst the lively surroundings. After a satisfying lunch, we will journey to the Adriatic Coast to discover Egnazia. Explore the National Archaeological Museum and the fascinating Archaeological Park. Return to your hotel in Monopoli to unwind and relax.

Day 8: Start your day with a scrumptious breakfast as we embark on a captivating tour of two Adriatic gems: Monopoli and Polignano. Discover the historic center of Monopoli, stroll along its picturesque waterfront adorned with charming clubs and cafes. Next up is a stop at Polignano a Mare, where you can wander along its panoramic terraces. After a delightful lunch, we will continue our journey to Bari Vecchia, the historic heart of the city of Bari. Discover the revered Basilica of San Nicola, the magnificent Cathedral of San Sabino, and the charming Arco Basso, where you can witness locals skillfully making Orecchiette pasta. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture as you visit Teatro Margherita and Petruzzelli. Along the way, indulge in local products, sampling panzerotti, focaccia, Peroni, popizze, taralli, and more!

Day 9: After a satisfying breakfast, you have the day at your leisure to enjoy some free time. Take this opportunity to relax, explore the surroundings, or engage in activities of your choice. Later, we will arrange your transfer to the airport or train station, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey.
