Day 1
Upon arrival in Bari, you will be welcomed by our driver and transferred to your hotel in Vieste. If time allows, we will suggest optional excursions you may add, or you can simply enjoy some free time to relax.
Day 2
After breakfast, enjoy a boat excursion along the Gargano coastline, visiting the sea caves and passing through the Arch of San Felice. Lunch in Peschici in one of the traditional sea “trabucchi” restaurants. In the afternoon, visit the Umbra Forest, one of the most beautiful woodlands in Italy, with the possibility of enjoying nature trails. Return to your hotel in Manfredonia.
Day 3
After breakfast, change scenery and reach Barletta, famous for its historic centre with the Swabian Castle and its 13 km coastline, where one beautiful beach follows another. Free time for lunch. From the sea of Barletta to the underground paths of Gravina Sotterranea. The afternoon is dedicated to visiting Gravina in Puglia, a town built on the edge of a deep ravine between Puglia and Basilicata. Short stop in Altamura, where you can taste the famous focaccia from the Di Gesù bakery and the local walnut liqueur “Padre Peppe”. Return to your hotel in Matera.
Day 4
After breakfast, dedicate the day to exploring the city of Matera, the famous City of the Sassi. Continue along the panoramic Belvedere before descending into the ancient cave dwellings. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, visit two charming towns: Alberobello and Ostuni.
Day 5
After breakfast, departure to Grottaglie, a town known for its ceramics production, with an entire district dedicated to artisan workshops near the historic centre. We recommend exploring the town without entering at least one shop and purchasing a traditional “pumo” ceramic! After free time for lunch, return to the masseria. In the afternoon, enjoy a wine tasting experience followed by a dinner show featuring pizzica music and traditional Apulian dishes.
Day 6
After breakfast, transfer to Lecce. Keep your camera ready—you will definitely need it. Don’t miss a stop at a local café to try the traditional pasticciotto and sip a caffè leccese. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, continue towards Otranto. The day ends with a short visit to Santa Maria di Leuca, the southernmost point of Puglia. Return to your hotel in Gallipoli.
Day 7
After breakfast, enjoy the morning visiting Gallipoli, with its historic monuments, beautiful beaches, and lively fish market, where you can also enjoy an aperitivo. After lunch, continue along the Adriatic coast to Egnazia to visit the National Archaeological Museum and the Archaeological Park. Return to your hotel in Monopoli.
Day 8
After breakfast, begin the day exploring two Adriatic gems: Monopoli and Polignano a Mare. After lunch, continue to Bari and discover Bari Vecchia: an immersive experience through the city’s most iconic spots, with food stops to taste panzerotti, focaccia, Peroni beer, popizze, taralli, and much more. Return to your hotel in Bari.
Day 9
After breakfast, enjoy some free time before your transfer to the airport or train station.
