Located in the heart of the Gargano National Park, the Umbra Forest is one of Southern Italy’s most enchanting natural treasures, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its extraordinary environmental and landscape value.

This green oasis of ancient woodlands, peaceful trails, and rich biodiversity offers unforgettable scenery for both adults and children throughout the year. Nature reigns untouched here, creating the perfect habitat for rare wildlife, including the beautiful Italian Roe Deer, symbol of the forest.

The experience allows you to explore this magical place through more than 15 different trails, suitable for trekking, mountain biking, or relaxing walks immersed in nature.

Each route reveals a different side of the forest, among monumental trees, panoramic views, and authentic atmospheres that change beautifully with the seasons.

We especially recommend visiting between November and December, when the autumn foliage transforms the Umbra Forest into a breathtaking display of warm colours and stunning natural scenery.
